PE Talk: What is Quality Physical Education in Europe?
The new school year has just begun across Europe. Teachers are currently preparing their lessons with the ambition of providing high-quality physical education for their students.
But what exactly is Quality Physical Education? What are its key characteristics?
The definition of Quality Physical Education can sometimes be seen as an attempt to standardise physical education across Europe. However, numerous studies and publications have already explored this topic.
The European Physical Education Association (EUPEA) has worked to develop a shared definition and identify key principles, with the aim of providing practical guidelines and meaningful recommendations for teachers and educators.
Join the PE Talk on Wednesday, 14 October, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM (Paris time).
EUPEA will present a summary poster of its work on Quality Physical Education. Teachers from several European countries will also share their experiences and present examples of good practice from their respective contexts.
